Eco friendly dishwasher tablets

I have used almost all my old Cascade dishwasher tablets and am ready to try something new. We went to the Whole Foods Market today and I bought some Ecover dishwasher tablets.

Cascade: $4.29 for 20 tablets is 21 cents per load

Ecover: $6.39 for 25 tablets is 25 cents per load

If these work as good as the Cascade tablets than I think 4 cent per load is a small premium to go eco friendly and absolutely worth it. They also have eco friendly rinse aid which I will buy next time.

Electric car goes more than 600 miles on a charge

Treehugger is reporting that a modified Daihatsu got more than 600 miles on a single charge.

When a group of DIYers can do it I find it hard to believe that one of the big car manufacturers, with access to lots of money for research, is not able to do this. Tesla and Nissan are absolutely going in the right direction but both are still not there yet. I am waiting for an all electric car with a range of about 300 miles. Who will be the first to deliver??
