Green Tips


Here are some tips for a greener life:

  • Replace all lights with energy saving lights
  • Start a garden
  • Eat meatless at least once a week, or become a vegetarian
  • Line dry clothes instead of using a dryer
  • Replace toilets with Watersmart toilets (1.2 gpf or less)
  • Start a compost pile
  • Bring your own reusable bags for shopping
  • Buy locally grown, organic food (Farmers market)
  • Carpool to work, use a bicycle or walk whenever possible
